Our ambitious but achievable goal is zero landfill. 

We ask all visitors to the fair to minimise material brought on site and to remove their own

waste on departure.  It could be a carrier bag full it could be none.

We will recycle cans, plastic, cardboard and paper. All food waste will be composted. 

There will be no rubbish bins for general waste except for disposable  nappies and sanitary

waste.

We will have a free cloth nappy service on site.  (please bring your own wraps)

In 2007 we didnt quite manage zero waste but 35 binbags of landfill for 4000

people was getting close.  We recyled 290kgs of mixed glass, 16 bags

of plastic bottles, 110kgs of mixed cans, 2 bales of cardboard and the

food waste compost is cooking sweetly.
